                              About Ogden UnCon

                              Ogden UnCon is Ogden’s untamed and unconventional pop culture convention. Our convention is about the attendees’ convention experience. Like you, we have attended a lot of comic cons and pop culture conventions, so we know what works and what doesn’t. Fan-based conventions should be fun, not hours in line for 3 secs of payoff.

                              No one likes waiting in line. Ogden UnCon is determined to lessen your wait time and give you more time to talk to celebrities. We want you to walk away with more than a photo and signature. We want you to look back at your Ogden UnCon experience remembering you had an incredible time.

                              Unconventional Guests

                              We are only inviting celebrity guests and authors who want to meet and talk to fans. So our guests are an engaging, fun-loving group. We also want guests with unconventional messages and unique content who are not likely to have been seen before at a Utah convention.

                              Getting Your Money’s Worth

                              Our goal is to have so much content that you are not likely to see everything Ogden UnCon has to offer. Tons of panels, shows, events, contests, and fun. Our tickets are reasonably priced. $30 for 1-day passes, $65 for 3-day passes, and $120 for VIP passes. You get more than just a bag and a pen in our VIP passes. As a VIP pass holder, you get free access to ALL THE SHOWS (including after-hours shows), preferred seating at panels, free access to workshops, access to the Ogden UnCon VIP Party, and more. Our vendor booths are also reasonably priced. $300 for an 8‘x10’ booth and $200 for a table. For more information on vendor spaces, click here.

                              Giving Back

                              Ogden UnCon is also interested in giving back to our community. We intend to give 10% of our regularly priced ticket sales to Ogden teachers in an effort to ease the burden they take on. Teachers often go out of pocket to put supplies in their classrooms. Changes to the income tax code have taken away their ability to claim these expenses on their taxes. Ogden UnCon intends to help set up a fund where teachers can draw funds for these expenses. Our workshops are designed to give local artists a helping hand. Acting workshops will help actors audition for casting directors. Our author workshops will help authors with publishing, marketing, and pitching their work. Our makeup workshops are designed to help local artists learn tricks, tips, and methodology. Our contests give actors, authors, and artists a chance to get a gig in a paid production, pitch their books to actual publishers, and learn set etiquette from professionals. All of our programmings have the attendees in mind. We aren’t another cattle farm. We are all about the convention experiences.
